About this event
The Chicago Chapter Charities Foundations CCCF is proud to present our 5th annual fundraising event, Power and Purpose Chicago 2021!
This year’s theme is "Harnessing Our Power To Fulfill Our Purpose”. Our goal is to bring together philanthropic, civic and corporate leaders to harness our collective power and engage around issues that impact the lives of African Americans in Chicago
Since 2016, Power and Purpose has featured dynamic speakers addressing our mental health focus. Each event has hosted over 300 guests allowing us to give grants in excess of $100,000 to community-based organizations with focus on African Americans. Some of these organizations include National Alliance on Mental Illness, The Night Ministry, Thresholds, and the Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance. Past speakers have included the Honorable Lori Lightfoot – Mayor of the City of Chicago, Symone Sanders – Senior Advisor to Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris, and Soledad O’Brien – former CNN News Correspondent.
Past sponsors have included Northwestern Medicine, Walgreens, BMO Harris, and Advocate Aurora Health.
Power and Purpose Chicago ’21 will be a virtual event held on October 21, 2021 at 7:00 pm. We are excited to host an informative, engaging, entertaining, and inspirational event.
We welcome the opportunity to partner and continue this work of positively impacting our community.
The Chicago Chapter Charities Foundation (CCCF) is a registered 501(c)3
