Happens Everywhere: Media, Anxiety, and Violence

Please join CCCF for our 6th annual Power & Purpose Luncheon
on October 10th at the Union League Club of Chicago.

This can't-miss event will be moderated by Chicago’s very own Micah Materre, WGN News Anchor, and will feature a panel discussion on the media and its influence on anxiety and violence in our everyday lives.

Panelists include:

Arne Duncan, CEO, Chicago Cred

Angela Ferrell-Zabala, CEO, Mom’s Demand Action

Dr. Robin Smith, Best Selling Author and former on-air therapist for the Oprah Winfrey Show

Proceeds from the luncheon benefit CCCF programs and this year’s grant recipients, UCan and Family Focus, both of which are Black women-led non-profits serving communities of color in Chicago. Grants will be utilized to support programs providing mental heath and wellness for women and girls.
